Revival of Kamala Peetha Sarvajnapeetha
On the verge of extinction, the revival of the kingdom of Kamala Peetha Sarvajnapeetha commenced at a soul level with the coronation of The Spiritual Head (THE SPH). Swami Atmananda legally declared THE SPH as the Supreme Pontiff (Guru Maha Sannidhanam) for the Kingdom ruling from Tiruvarur – KAILĀSA Paramparagatha Sūrya Vamsa Adi Chola Samrajya Kamala Peetha Sarvajnapeetha. Members of the Sovereign Order of KAILĀSA’s NITHYĀNANDA commenced comprehensive spiritual services within the region under the guidance and leadership of THE SPH. The people in reinvorgated with the presence and teachings of the Science of Living Enlightenment.

Revival
The current pontiff of the Śri Somanatha Swami temple and Aadheenam in Tiruvarur appointed The SPH Nithyānanda Paramashivam as his successor. Nearly on the brink of extinction, the resuscitation of KAILĀSA in Tiruvarur commenced from the soul level with the coronation of The SPH. Full fledged spiritual activities began within the region under the auspice of The SPH.
Coronation of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism to the Kailaasa Paramparagatha SūRya Vamsa Sarvajnapeetha Adi Chola Samrajyam (Tiruvarur)
On April 15, 2014, Swami Atmananda, the current pontiff of Sri Somanatha Swami temple and Mutt (Aadheenam, temple monastery complex), Tiruvarur, appointed The SPH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam as his successor. The temple and mutt come under the Sri Kashi Vishwanathar temple in Thanjavur owned by The SPH.
With the coronation, the revival of Kailaasa in Tiruvarur commenced from the soul level.

Ongoing threats to Survival
The Kamala Peetha Sarvajnapeetha along with the Vedaranyam Sarvajnapeetha, the Panchanadikulam Sarvajnapeetha,
and the Thanjavur Sarvajnapeetha have been the target of erous attacks by anti-Hindu militants,
in an attempt to curtail the spiritual services provided to the people of the kingdom.

After unlawfully encroaching on the temple, Hindumisic forces assaulted a sanyasi (monk) who had to flee from the temple for safety. He was chased for more than 14 km.
